Con Moving List-MY FRIENDS!

Last weekend my friends threw a "going away" party for us and 3 other couples in the ward that are moving. We had such a great time! We went on a video scavenger hunt, and I felt like I was in highschool again......I even went toilet papering!
I am so SAD to leave this ward and all our awesome friends. It has been the best two years of our lives. We have met some wonderful lifetime friends, and it is so hard to say goodbye. I'm really excited to be close to family, but it really is such a hard time to know that I'll never have moments like these again with these friends. It's like I know I need to go, but a part of me wants to stay forever.

I KNOW ward families are forever!!!! I'm so thankful to have met such wonderful people!

Update on the Babies

Babies are doing great!!!! Little Mylee is a trooper! She's breathing on her own! The mommies are recovering well too. Jill had preeclampsia (pregnancy induced high blood pressure) and her body is still trying to recooperate. Things are looking well all around!

What an eventful weekend for the Conger Family!!! Two little babies were born into the family. Bremen (prounced Bray-min) Hardle was born on Saturday, April 19th, after his poor mommy, Jade was in labor for over 36 hours. No wonder--he weighed 9 lbs 11 oz and 22 inches long.
And Jill's little girl Mylee Ann Wilde could not wait to get here any sooner.......she came today, Sunday. She was 32 weeks........weighed 3 lbs 12 oz and 17 inches long.
I am so thankful for such beautiful sisters, and I cannot wait to meet my new nephew and niece!
It has been so hard to miss such special moments, ones that I will never get back, but I am so thankful to have the oppurtunity to move closer to my family. It's moments like these that cannot miss anymore. So sisters-----next time I'll be there!!!! And I CANT wait!!!!!!!!

Philadelphia Zoo

We went to "America's First ZOO" the Philly Zoo last Saturday with our friends, the Bastows. It was perfect weather, and the kids had so much fun! Lainey was the Map Reader, and made sure we saw everything there. Aislee loves her friend Lainey, she's like a big sister, and they are so so so sweet!

They got to ride on the Zoo Train, more like LAME-O ZOO TRAIN, I mean, it wasn't even on tracks, and it just went in a circle. BORING. But they liked it!

The little Buddies, Stephen and Easton, just got too tired, and had to take a little Snooze!

And of course, after, you can't go to Philly without getting a Philly cheesesteak! So we went to Pats, its right across from Genos. They are both famous, and they were great! We were all worn out though!

My little Aisers

I can't do a post about the buddy and not my little Aisers, so here we go!
Aislee is such a sweetheart, the other day I was using a firm voice with her because I was trying to get things done, and she looked at me, and said.......Mom.....no, don't talk like that, talk like Jamie, like say sweetie. So I changed my mood and said, Like this sweetheart......and she got a huge smile on her face, and said ya.......Like that MOM, that's who you are!!!!
What a little sweetheart, right????!!!!! I'm so thankful to have such a cute, wonderful, thoughtful daughter!

Then there is the picture of when she was ready at 7 o clock in the morning to go to her 3:00 playdate at her friends' Lainey and Cliff's house! She loves her friends!

Eastoanian

I decided to do a little blog about my buddy, Easton, or Eastoanian (pronounced East-own-ian) as Aislee and his Daddy call him! Julie and Jade, you both have been asking to see pictures of him lately so here we go!
HE LOVES DOGS! He loves to bark like a dog, and when he hears a dog bark, or sees a dog, he opens his mouth as big as it can go, and just keeps saying over and over "Oh, Oh, Oh". It's so cute! Thats he favorite little doggy up in the pictures. He holds it and loves it!
He loves to play with our pots and pans and tupperware, especially trying to fit lids onto everything!
And of course he loves to eat! He could have a huge meal, and then eat 2 seconds later. His favorite foods lately: popcorn, nutri-grain bars, applesauce, and anything his mommy cooks. OF COURSE--he has to feed himself......all by himself, if we try to help, we get yelled at!!!
He is learning to walk and loves it, getting really good at it! He loves BALLS-especially Daddy's basketball. He will walk to it, pick it up, and try to dribble it, what a cute little guy!
Today we went to the park, and he LOVED the swings, and loved the slide. He couldn't get enough of them. I'm surprised because Aislee was always a little apprehensive about those things at his age. The difference of boys and girls I guess!
We love our little buddy, and are so thankful he's with us! I can't wait for my family to get to know him better!

For your information, our first scheduled activity is the first Saturday when Aislee (our secretary) comes to the CEO's home. We will have a short Presdiency meeting before our zoo trip to vote on who may be invited besides me and the full-time members. We will let you know.

Keagan, as the president has requested a picnic lunch for members only on that day. Also, our club needs to purchase a small picnic table for the fire-pit area. The CEO will collect dues for this purchase.

At the end of our zoo activity, the club will select the next activity and date. An announcement will be made at that time.

As CEO, I ask that you share these callings and assignments with your children and provide any parental training that may be required for them to be successful!

It's Official~We are Moving

What a bitter-sweet moment we are in right now in our lives. I absolutely am in love with our ward out here in Allentown, Pennsylvania. We have made the very best of friends out here, and our testimonies have grown immensly. We definitely will never forget the families that have welcomed us and made us apart of their families out here. There is so much work left to be done, but for us, oppurtunites have come up so that we might return to our families! I am SOOOOOOO excited to be closer to my Mom and Dad, and beautiful sisters. I truly have the best family in the whole wide world. Aislee is so excited to be with her Papa and cousins, and I'm excited for little Easton to get to know his grandparents and cousins more!
I remember having a really hard time one Sunday missing my family, and the YW President who I am working with gave me a big hug and told me that oppurtunities would arrive when they were supposed to, and in the last few months they have, and I couldn't be more thankful! I'm so thankful to have spent apart of my life out here! I can't wait to see all my Ward family again in heaven-------no crying.......I know I'll see some of them before then, but what a great feeling knowing that we will all be together forever!
And to my family~~It has been so hard only seeing you all a few times a year, and harder calling you all on the phone when you are all together. But the hardest is definitely when little Aislee starts to cry because she misses you all. (Remember the sad Christmas phone call Mom & Dad??) I can't wait to play with my nieces and nephews more, and just to hang out!

Architechtural Digest Home Design Show in New York

So, last weekend, I went to the AD Home Design show in New York City. It was so awesome! I hate driving in the city, because there is so many oppurtunities when driving into and out of New York to take a wrong road/exit. But driving in was great, and there wasn't any traffic, so I made it in about an hour and 15 minutes. The show was on Pier 94, and so I parked on top of the Hudson River, and there were these HUGE cruise ships parked right next to me. Pretty crazy.
The Show was great, I'm so glad I went! I got a lot of new ideas for designing homes, and I even got to talk to Joe Berkowitz, who is a big designer out here. He gave me a lot of good insights for a project I'm working on, and for my business.

That is some crazy Italian painted hardwood floor! If I had a second life and lived in a Studio apartment in New York, I'd want that floor!
Then, after the show I went and did some shopping on Lexington and about 58th, it was so foggy! Why Lexington and 58th??? Because not only is their an H&M, and a Nine West, a Gap, Banana Rep, and another really cool shoe store, but there is also a Container Store, such a fun store for a person who likes containers, lists, and all sorts of other organization tools to help me become "more organized"!
THEN, on my way home, I made it out of the city, but took a wrong turn/way/exit, don't know really what to call it because its sOOOOOO confusing, and ended up at the Newark airport. Thankfully found my way back, and made it home safe!

What a day!!!

The END of Chinatown, Canal St, and Knock-off purses

So, I'm not sure if any of you are aware, but on February 26th, Canal Street in New York was raided by the NYPD, and all of the knock-off items were confiscated. Sad day for me, because there is no way I will pay $300-$1500 for real purses. I know, I'm cheap, but the $30 for a knock off suits me just fine. Just two weeks before the raid, me and a few of my friends went and bought a bunch of purses for friends and family, and we have some left, so I decided to post them on my blog to see if anyone would like to buy them from us. Right now you still may be able to get some in a round about way if you go to New York, but I was just there yesterday for the Architectural Home Design Show, and then I did a little shopping on 58th street and Lexington, and usually you'll see a few stands even there with purses for sale, but NOTHING. Eventually, they are saying, NYPD will get individual warrants for all the shops who are selling fakes. So take advantage of these last few knock-off purses.
