My new handbag (I hate the word Purse)

So, a couple weekends ago, a few friends and I went into New York to do a little Christmas shopping in Chinatown. I wish I would've taken pictures of all the bags I bought, but I did take one of mine. I actually bought it for my birthday, but had Brian wrap it up and give it to me for Christmas too!

It's a Dolce and Gabbana-knock-off of course!
I love New York! And it's so fun being so close. We've discovered a secret way to get in, so it doesn't cost a hundred dollars to park, and 5 hours of traffic getting through the Holland or Lincoln Tunnels. We park in Jersey City and there's a subway that takes you right onto 34th street. Except for this time, we took the subway from Jersey to the WTC, and it was so neat, because the subway actually comes above ground and drives really slow through ground zero so you can see everything.

Then we went and saw the Rockefeller Center tree and had lunch in a little Cucina there, right by the ice skating rink.
We left at 8 and got home at about 3 or 4! Perfect little half day trip!

My new favorite tradition!

Last night I started a new tradition with Aislee that I want to continue forever! I thought that maybe it would be fun to have her pick out a present for Easton and her Daddy and wrap it and put it under the tree. To teach her that Christmas is not just about receiving, but also that it's fun to give! So, we went to our favorite store: Target! She picked out the gifts all by herself. I want so bad to write what she picked out, but Brian would find out! I loved it too, because never once did she think about getting something for herself, she was so consumed with finding the right gift for her Dad and brother! Then, after shopping, we went to the little cafe inside Target and got popcorn and a drink! We had so much fun! I can't wait to do this again next year with her, and when Easton is old enough, it will be fun to take him too! Our own little Christmas date nights!

Easton found the stairs~and he LOVES going up them! Of course, Aislee showed him exactly how to do it, and was there every step of the way!

Allergic to Milk

You wouldn't think when you look at this little buddy that he is allergic to milk, but I'm afraid he is. It all started when around 9 months old, I tried introducing yogurt into his diet; he immediatly threw it up. When I talked to the doctor he thought it was a texture thing, then off and on I would try giving him something else dairy, and sometimes he was okay with it, and other times, throw it up. But recently Brian gave him a bite of his cereal, and with a little milk, he threw up and started wheezing. OH NO. So, I called the doctor again, and he thinks the worst: allergic. We need to keep him away from dairy until his next well visit. I hope he can grow out of it. I would love to hear from other moms who have gone through this, I mean.....what am I supposed to do? Milk is a huge part of our diets, and especially in little babies.

HAPPY DAY!

The blanky has been found!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brian got a call from the doctor, and he went and picked it up and surprised Aislee! We are so excited. To be honest, I really didn't care much for the blanky before this whole incident, but now, I love it almost as much as Ais does!
And we even took the new blanky back to Target, just like Aislee wanted to do. (which is unlike her to want to take anything back, she's a shopper just like her mommy)
